A bit of forward planning is always a wonderful thing in hindsight. Every dry season we get lots of disappointed customers who want to take a Private Charter from Darwin to Kakadu and Arnhem Land but leave it until May or June to contact us by which time we have no availability. Our ‘dry’ or peak season in The Top End is May to September and our peak time fills up very early.
All itineraries are tailored to suit your groups requirements ( I use the term ‘group’ loosely as our average ‘group’ size on a Private Charter is two to five passengers ). Once you advise us of your groups size and interests we can then tailor the perfect itinerary for you. Lords Safaris have a permanent Camp at Mardugul Campground in Kakadu, with beds, sheets, fans and a dining area – I think the word du jour is ‘Glamping’. All of your meals are prepared as you sit around the campfire with an aperitif and snacks, (this is appreciated more than anyone by the Mum in the group). The beds are made for you and you can retire before waking in the morning to birdsong and the noises of the bush with all critters safely outside your tent. Bliss. Now is the time to start planning your Private Charter for 2018 !
